The original charter was signed by 51 members.  The first group of officers to serve was: Ada Ambler David as Regent; Kathryn Engle Hess as Vice Regent; Martha Steele Huff as Chaplain; Alice Bradford Jacobs as Recording Secretary; Gladys O. Wood Gross as Corresponding Secretary; Evelyn D. Walt as Treasurer; Reba Mann Moyer as Registrar; Naomi G. Persons as Historian and Martha Coplin Leister as Librarian.
